UNBUNDLING CONTRACTS TO INCREASE EQUITY
AUGUST 25, 2022
In a continued effort to stay connected with the vendor community, the County of Los Angeles, Internal Services Department hosted a virtual Business Outreach Event on August 25, 2022 from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
Attendees learned about unbundling County contracts opportunities, how to register to do business with the County, how to qualify for County preference programs, and how to capitalize on unbundling opportunities.

LA COUNTY HOTSPOT LOCATOR
Internet access is key to schools’ online learning programs and is the gateway that connects members of the public who are in need of Federal, State, and local emergency information and resources.
The Los Angeles County WiFi Locator tool, in partnership with 211 LA County, gives LA County residents a free tool to help find internet access.
The mission of the Women and Girls Initiative is to establish Los Angeles County as a leader in creating opportunities and improving outcomes for all women and girls.
We will apply a gender lens when the County acts as an employer, a service provider, and as a partner to:

LA COUNTY CELEBRATES FAIR CHANCE EMPLOYERS
The County of Los Angeles encourages our vendors to give justice-involved individuals a Fair Chance at employment by “Banning the Box” to eliminate asking about prior convictions and promoting a fair hiring process.
